SA-28 resin exhibits excellent solubility in organic solvents including ketones, esters, aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, white spirit, and high alcohols. It demonstrates strong compatibility with medium and long-oil alkyds and oleoresinous varnishes, serving as an effective modifier, while showing outstanding compatibility with vinyl chloride resins and chlorinated paraffins. Additionally, it provides superior wetting properties for pigments.

SA 28 resin is widely applicable in foil laminating coatings (adhesive layers), vacuum metallizing as a topcoat, alkyd-modified paints, pigment dispersion systems, and similar applications.
